The Krabi Town Night Market<\/strong>, also known as\u00a0Walking Street, is one\u00a0worth visiting while in Krabi, Thailand. \u00a0Available on weekends from Fridays to Sundays, the night market behind Vogue department store offers a fascinating insight into the local Thai culture.<\/p>\n When we arrived at 6pm, all\u00a0the stalls have already been set up, either in yellow tents, or in the open-air spaces. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The night market is a treasure trove for enthusiastic shoppers. \u00a0It boasts a variety of handicrafts made by the locals.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There were also stunning paintings of Krabi’s beautiful beaches done by the local artists.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It was great to have the opportunity to witness\u00a0live demonstrations of unique Thai crafts at the night market.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The creativity of the locals could be seen with the decorative pieces pictured below made from recycled materials.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The local ladies made pretty bouquets of flowers from pandan leaves.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The stall below was something interesting for us as we would never find such stalls in the\u00a0night markets in Singapore.<\/p>\n The night market \/ walking street was bigger than the night markets in Ao Nang and Railay.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The night market also had musical performances such as the one pictured below.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What\u00a0is a night market without food? \u00a0The Krabi Town night market had such a great\u00a0selection of food that we could not decide which ones to try.<\/p>\n Since almost half of the locals\u00a0in Krabi are muslims, many of the stalls served\u00a0halal food.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n One of our favourites was the skewered meat or seafood\u00a0soaked\u00a0in sweet and spicy Thai chilli sauce.<\/p>\n Another favourite was the freshly cooked pad thai.<\/p>\n The stall allowed their customers to add as much chilli and sugar as they\u00a0liked.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Another one of our favourites was the cuttlefish that were grilled and then soaked in a spicy Thai\u00a0sauce.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For desserts, we tried the pancakes filled with pandan\u00a0custard as well as\u00a0the popular\u00a0mango with sticky rice.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There were also interesting snacks made out of green bean paste as pictured below.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Check out the cute bamboo drink holders.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The night market had an open-air seating area for visitors to relax and enjoy the food.<\/p>\n![\"Krabi-Town-Night-Market-03\"](\"http:\/\/www.adventureswithfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Krabi-Town-Night-Market-03.png\")
