After about 3 hours of driving from Rotorua, we arrived in Auckland, a bustling metropolitan city in New Zealand’s North Island. It is the most populous urban area in the country.
The Auckland Sky Tower offers breathtaking views of the city skyline. We visited the tower in the late afternoon and saw the transformation of Auckland from day to night.
