I know there were probably so much more things to do in Christchurch than the half-day hop-on-hop-off Christchurch tramway ride that we took, but seriously, I did not regret spending more time outside the city. I’d rather explore more of the gorgeous New Zealand countryside with my family than to hang out in the city.
Last I read, the Christchurch Tramway has not been in operation since the February 2011 earthquake.
What was notably interesting about the tramway was that it passed through the shopping area. See the picture below.
