There were so many things to see and do in Sydney. There were beaches, parks, attractions within the city and outside of the city. My hubby and I could not decide where to go on our last full day in Sydney, so we did what we usually do i.e. we let the kids decide. I gave my kids a couple of options and they decided on the Sydney Taronga Zoo. So, zoo it was.

To get to the zoo, we took a 15-minute ferry ride from Collyer Quay.

From the ferry terminal, we took a cable car to the entrance of the zoo. The view was awesome.

 

Sydney Taronga Zoo

The zoo was quite big and there were a lot of animals to see.

There was a kids area with smaller animals and a play area.

 

Here’s the view of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney skyline from the zoo.

 

The Rock

After returning from the Zoo, we headed to The Rock for some souvenir shopping.
