A fun experience for the family when visiting New Zealand South Island is to experience an authentic New Zealand Farm stay. We experienced a farm stay at Silver Peaks Lodge, which was just 15 minutes south of Dunedin on Sate Highway 1. The place was very cosy with indoor and outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the peaceful view of the countryside.
I stayed in a room with a queen-sized bed, a single bed and a baby cot. There was another room with 2 single beds.
My son enjoyed feeding the sheep on the farm.
